Hi Stuart,

The way PhotoMerchant works is that when you create a new gallery you assign a Feature Set (a collection of products) and a Pricing Model (which is your retail price list). The Feature Set is where you determine which print or digital download products you wish to sell. You can also use/edit some of the pre-made digital download products we've created or you can create your own from scratch.

The best way to build your gallery of free digital files, you should follow our getting started guide: http://photomerchant.zendesk.com/forums/227612

We've got some online tutorials in our helpdesk area which will walk you through setting it all up:
- Setting up Digital Download Products: http://photomerchant.zendesk.com/entries/20122616
- Creating your first Gallery: http://photomerchant.zendesk.com/entries/268320

Following these steps will all you to create a gallery of free digital files for you to send to your customer. If you have any more questions you can always lodge a ticket with our support team or use the live chat functionality.

Cheers
