Setting the Gallery preview image

When you create a new Gallery, the first image that you uploaded will become the default Cover Image. The Cover Image is the preview image that represents the Gallery your visitors will see inside the Portfolio (wee the example below). Thankfully, it is really easy to change the Cover Image you want to represent your Gallery.

Step 1: Click on the Photos tab to view your Galleries.
Step 2: Choose the Gallery you want to set a new cover image for and click on the title or thumbnail.

Step 3: Find the photo you would like to become your Cover Image and select the tick-box on the thumbnail (make sure only one is selected).
Step 4: Click the Set Cover link at the bottom of the page.

Step 5: Confirm your selection by clicking the “Set as Cover Image” button.
Note: Only select the “Set as parent category cover image as well?” if you would like this image to also be the default Cover Image to represent an entire Category of Galleries.

Task complete – your Gallery will now be displaying the new photo.
