There are plenty of helpful ways to solve the problem you may encounter when using PhotoMerchant. By following these steps you will likely find a solution to your problem, and by sharing your issues in the Support Forums you may well be helping the next person solve their own problems.

1. Tool Tips

The most common problems occur when it is unclear what to do next. Look out for tool tips () and click on the yellow question mark. The tool-tip should help explain the function of the item in question. Help us build a better in-line help system and click the “Was this helpful” links and we will know which tips to work on in the future.

 

2. “About” panels

About panels are located on every page of the Application Interface (excluding the Dashboard) and contain useful descriptions on “what it does” and “what to do”. Again, click the links and let us know your thoughts.

 

3. Getting Started Guide

If you’re new to PhotoMerchant, the Getting Started Guide should be your first port of call to get up and running. The Guide is still in it’s infancy and still has a lot of work to go. Thanks for your patience…

 

4. Feedback Tab / Support Forum

PhotoMerchant uses an online support system made by Get Satisfaction allowing users to search existing Problems, suggest Ideas, ask Questions and offer Praise when it’s due. We refer to this system as the “Support Forum” and it is the primary means to raise any issues or suggestions you might have.

There are two ways to accesses the Support Forum: point your web browser at www.getsatisfaction.com/photomerchant or click on the Feedback Tab that resides on the left hand side of your browser.

When making a submission, please be as specific about what you were doing, what you were trying to achieve and what the end result was. Your detailed description could help other users with the same problem. Note: Please search for similar problems before submitting a new issue of your own.

5. PhotoMerchant TV

Video Tutorials, Webcasts and Podcasts are a great way to gain useful insights into how applications work. PhotoMerchant.TV will become a hub for sharing educational videos specific to PhotoMerchant, but also more generally on issues relating to business, marketing and photography.
